Amazing Race 21 Josh & Brent won the entire show tonight for the finale episode. The finale show started off with the final four teams, learning they had to go to Barcelona,Spain. Then head for the Loire Valley in France. Once there, they had to transport a bunch of crates,by car, to a large garden area to find their next clue. Once they completed that, they had to find Leonardo Da Vinci’s final resting place to get their next clue.

In the meantime, Natalie & Nadiya had to do their exclusive, last place, “speed bump” challenge. In the challenge, they had to help a woman get suited up into an 18th century dress to continue the regular race. Next, the rest of the teams ran into their detours. They got to pick between “Chow,” or the “Plow” detours.

In the “Chow” detour, they had to create a healthy meal for a bunch of dogs to get their next clue. In the “Plow” detour, they had to properly cultivate a field to get their next clue. Once they knocked that out, they had to go to a place called, Cave Des Roches. Once there, they ran into a Road Block challenge, where they had to search for a variety of different mushrooms to get their next clue.

After completing that, they headed to the pit stop for this leg of the race. James & Jaymes arrived in first place, and won new Ford Escape cars for each of them. Trey & Lexi showed up in 2nd place,Josh & Brent came in 3rd place, and Natalie & Nadiya showed up last,so they got eliminated at this point.

From there, they quickly started the final leg of the entire race for the $1 million dollar grand prize. To kick things off, the teams had to fly to New York City,New York. Then they had to locate a special sign to get their first clue for the final leg.

Next, they had to do a crazy “Houdini” escape act to get their next clue. After finishing that up, they had to deliver pizzas to the correct location to get their next clue. Once they knocked that out, they hit up their final challenge. In the last challenge, they had to identify and match the different ways of saying “hello” in all the different countries they visited, with the correct country flags, to get that final clue.

After that, they had to go straight to Gotham Hall which was the pit stop for the final leg of the entire race, and the underdogs, Josh Kilmer-Purcell & Brent Ridge, totally pulled out the $1 million dollar victory in pretty convincing fashion as they arrived well before any of the other teams. Jaymes & James arrived in 2nd place, and Trey & Lexi came in 3rd. Lexi was quite emotional too. Ok, well that’s it. We’ll see you guys back here for The Amazing Race 22 in February 2013. Stay tuned.
