Amy Poehler May Be Joining The Spin-Office

Amy Poehler might be looking at getting into the paper industry. Rumor has it the SNL funny lady is in the talks to join the closely guarded spin-off of The Office on NBC.

Previously, only Aziz Ansari, of MTV’s “Human Giant”, had been linked to the new comedy series. Now with the potential of putting a big name like Poehler in this series the need to transplant someone from the original Dunder Mifflin office would be greatly eased. That’d go along way to make me less worried about the damage a spin-off would do to my favorite office in Scranton.

Right now one of the hang ups to Poehler joining the cast is her pregnancy with a planned delivery in the fall. If the schedule conflicts can be worked out it’d be awesome to see Poehler take a lead role in this new series and be back to back with her ol’ pal Tina Fey (30 Rock).
