Anne Hathaway & Helena Bonham Carter Travel To Burton’s “Wonderland”

Move over Johnny Depp, you’ve got some company on the bench for Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland”. Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter have joined on to Burton’s adaptation of the Lewis Caroll classic story.

Hathaway was cast as the White Queen, who was outcast by her sister the Red Queen and becomes an ally of Alice. The Red Queen role will be filled by, you guessed it, Helena Bonham Carter who will relish her favorite line, “off with their heads!”

No confirmation on whether Hathaway or Carter will appear in live action or the capture animation, but consider Johnny Depp’s role as the Mad Hatter will be capture animation I think it’s safe to assume that all of the Wonderland scenes shall be animated.
