Arnold’s ‘Cut & Paste’ Rumor For Terminator 4
Email This Post

First off, I don’t believe the following rumor at all. Earlier in the week I watched the video of this meeting between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Christian Bale, but today the inevitable rumors finally emerged.
The big story going now was supplied by an alleged “WB (Warner Bros.) insider” and claims that Arnold will be involved in Terminator Salvation (T4), which isn’t surprising since he said he wanted to. The surprising part is just how he’ll be involved:
“…I have varous contacts in WB and from what i’ve been told the fans are in for a treat. The premise of Arnie’s involvement is to have a fully rendered digital face of Arnie replacing the recently cast Roland Kickinger (The Younger version of Arnie). It seems the Director McG will in no doubt try all he can to ensure the Governator has some sort of involvement and as a result Arnold was on set providing key ADR (Voice over) for the visual effects guys…”
Okay, so sure, Arnold’s age is a problem. If T4’s timeline would have a same aged Arnold-Terminator as he was in 1984’s original then it would be very difficult to explain his now much older state. But the idea that McG is going to cut and paste Arnold’s face from one of the earlier Terminator films is silly.
My guess? Arnold stopped by to show his support for the film after his previous comments on how he wasn’t impressed. I’m just not buying this story. You?
