Bachelorette 2012 ousted 6 men in episode 1 tonight. Earlier tonight,ABC aired the premiere episode of The Bachelorette 2012,and Emily Maynard ended up ditching 6 unhappy men to get the ball, rolling. It kicked off in usual fashion by showing Emily’s whole backstory, again.

Then they showed clips of all the Bachelors that will be vying for Emily’s affections. Then Emily chatted it up with host Chris Harrison to assure him that she really wants to find the perfect guy,and so on,and so forth.

Once all that lame info was covered, Emily finally met all her guys,one by one,after they rolled up in a limo. The last guy who showed,named Kalon,flew in on a fancy helicopter,which immediately set a bad tone with the other guys in the house.

After all that madness, Emily hit up the opening cocktail party to talk with the men. She talked 1 on 1 with a few of them. One of the guys named Doug really played his “I’m a parent too” card,super hardcore. The guy even brought a letter from his son,who supposedly wrote Emily a letter. Talk about selling it. This guy took the whole mileage out of it. Anyways,his tactic worked,because Emily eventually gave him the early,”First Impression,” rose.

After the final break,Emily passed out the roses. Chris, Ryan,Kalon, Arie,Charlie,Jeff,Nate,Shawn, Kyle ,Joe,Aaron,Alejandro ,John,Alessandro,Michael,Stevie,Tony, and Travis all got roses to go along with Doug,who got an early rose.

The rest of the six guys,took a hike,and so now,were left with 19 men. It should be interesting to see how they all get knocked out. I know one of them gets cussed out by Emily at some point.
