Big Brother 14 voted off Britney Haynes tonight for week 8, Ian is new HoH. Earlier tonight, Big Brother season 14′s live eviction show went down, and sent another unlucky houseguest to the exit door and off to jury. It kicked off by showing footage of what went down this past week inside the house, and the aftermath of Britney’s surprising eviction nomination to replace Dan on the chopping block.

Britney started balling, but did try to put up a little fight. Unfortunately, she’s just not good in that area,so it came off pretty weak. Meanwhile, Ian showed some spunk by starting a shouting match with Frank to defend Britney’s honor. They also showed Britney, cracking jokes about Dan’s big power move to betray the “Quack Pack” alliance.

After all that drama, host Julie Chen talked live with the houseguests for a bit. She also talked one on one with reigning HoH Frank. They showed a special video segment, featuring the Brigade alliance from season 12: Enzo,Lane,Hayden, and Matt. They gave their input on this season before Enzo said, Britney needs to stop all the crying and fight.

After a break, eviction nominees Danielle and Britney gave their speeches before the houseguests casts their votes. Dan,Jenn,Shane, and Joe voted to evict Britney. Ian voted to evict Danielle. So with a vote of 4-1, Britney got ousted from Big Brother 14 tonight for week 8. Afterwards, she gave her exit interview with Julie.

Next, the houseguests battled it out for the new HoH title. It was an endurance contest that lasted beyond the duration of the live show. The comp ended up lasting two hours, and came down to Ian and Shane with Ian pulling out the victory. So, Ian is the new HoH for the upcoming week 8.
