CBS Picks Up ‘Mentalist’ For Full Season

In a surprisingly delayed move, CBS has finally picked up “The Mentalist” for a full 22 episode season. “Psych” probably saw that coming.

Simon Baker’s “Mentalist” had continued to show very strong numbers, even beating out the previously top ranked DWTS this week in the ratings, making the full season order a no-brainer.

This makes CBS’ order only the fourth of this Fall 2008 television season after the extensions of fellow freshmen series Fringe, 90210, and Knight Rider.
