Cobra Commander Revealed In International GI JOE Trailer

Everything about the upcoming “GI Joe” movie has just seemed wrong. Throw a new foul into the mix with the split second reveal of Cobra Commander sans full face mask in the new international trailer. Granted, this may be the best trailer they’ve released yet because it manages to hide the terrible expectations laid out before it. All the same, there’s not a chance I’ll be seeing this.

Cobra Commander shows up at 0:07 into the clip, but that’s it. And yes, Commander is being played by the kid from “3rd Rock From the Sun,” Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Kinda weird. Both him playing Cobra and the freakishly long name of that sitcom. Today I’d like to hope we’d have learned to just call it, “3rd Rock.”
