Courtney Cox To Join Scrubs On ABC

Next season when Scrubs returns for its eighth season JD and Chocolate Bear will be on ABC instead of their previous home at NBC. Joining them for the change of scenery will be Courtney Cox (Friends) in a three episode arc.

Cox joins Scrubs as the new chief of medicine now that Dr. Kelso has retired. Will she be likely or play dirty like she was on the aptly named “Dirt”, which was just canceled by FX?

I’m interested in the fact that she’s just in for three episodes. If she’s coming in on the fixture role of chief of medicine you’d think they’d have locked her down for more of a commitment. Maybe they’re waiting to see if the white coat fits.
