Criminal Minds season 12 getting rid of Thomas Gibson Aka Aaron forever. As previously reported, Aaron Hotchner actor, Thomas Gibson (left) recently kicked one of the Criminal Minds executive producers in the freaking leg while on set, leading him to get suspended. Now, a new report from TV Line, reveals that they have indeed fired Thomas for good!

ABC Studios and CBS Television Studios released an official statement, saying: “Thomas Gibson has been dismissed from Criminal Minds. Creative details for how the character’s exit will be addressed in the show will be announced at a later date.”

Apparently, this wasn’t the first time an incident like this had occurred with Thomas. He had reportedly shoved an assistant director on set, and they forced him to go to some anger management classes.

Also, Thomas has come out with a statement regarding his firing, saying: “I love Criminal Minds and have put my heart and soul into it for the last 12 years. I had hoped to see it through to the end, but that won’t be possible now. I would just like to say thank you to the writers, producers, actors, our amazing crew, and, most importantly, the best fans that a show could ever hope to have.”

They’re now saying that Aaron Hotchner will most likely be sent away on special assignment in the upcoming season 12 episode 3. Season 12 is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday night, September 28th, 2016 at 8pm central time on CBS. Stay tuned.
