Drag Me To Hell Teaser – Horror Meets Comedy, Missing Bruce Campbell
I hadn’t heard much about Sam Raimi’s next project “Drag Me To Hell” other than it was a horror flick that Ellen Page (Juno) dropped out of. “Horror” isn’t entirely accurate, or so I’m guessing from the teaser clip shown over the weekend at Comic-Con.
Looks like Sam is heading back to his campy horror approach that made him famous with the Evil Dead series. Things looked serious until the blonde attacks with a stapler and it’s all downhill from there. Could be fun, but without Bruce Campbell I’m not sure I’ll know what to do with Raimi and silly horror.
Update: I just read this morning that Sam Raimi is planning another Evil Dead sequel, at least that’s what he told MTV:
“Yes,” he answered simply. Almost so simply, in fact, that I nearly dropped the microphone.
“For the few weirdoes that see the ‘Evil Dead’ movies – and it’s not a very big crowd if you ever look at those numbers, but they’re very dedicated,” he laughed. “I’d love to make another ‘Evil Dead’ picture.”
Well that’s good. Grab Bruce his boomstick and let’s get going.
