First Look: DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE MORGANS? – Starring Hugh Grant & Sarah Jessica Parker

I hadn’t heard of “Did You Hear About The Morgans?“, but that didn’t stop filming from launching on Tuesday in New York City with stars Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker. In a not-at-all-original storyline Grant and SJP play a couple who enter the witness protection program and are sent from their high-flying lifestyle in New York City to a small town in Wyoming. Hilarity ensues, I’m sure.

It takes a lot to get me interested in a romantic comedy and despite my past appreciation of some of Grant’s work I doubt this worn out tread will grip most audiences. Check out these first photos from the set (click to enlarge).

Funny, I live in Wyoming and I don’t recall any bits of it being filmed there. That state always gets ripped off of its movie capital.

The “Wyoming” part was filmed in Roy (sort of) New Mexico in the middle of nowhere. New Mexico has had a large share of movie scenes lately.

I live in Wyoming. this movie better not make us look like in-bred hicks. They should have really filmed it in Wyoming in the first place.

I live in Wyoming too, and have always heard that the State of Wyoming charges film makers a LOT to film here, that’s why they found more cooperative states. Too bad!

I am from Cody, Wyoming… and that def was not our airport and we dont have a Bargin Barn. and Kay, the reason Wyoming charges so much is b/c most of our land is protected or National Parks… Big wig movies would just ruin something beautiful – i could care less of they filmed it there or not, but agreeing with some of the folks above – they made parts of Wyoming actually look bad.
