Warner Brothers, you’re such a tease! The studio has released this teaser image of Jackie Earle Haley (“Watchmen,” “Little Children”) as Freddy Krueger in the reboot of “A Nightmare on Elm Street.” Come on! Couldn’t we at least see his face?

If I didn’t know any better, I’d think it was a photo of Robert Englund, the original burned child murderer. Haley appears to be a little shorter than Englund, but I’m happy to see they aren’t scrapping the red and green sweater or the fedora. 

/Film is saying that another image will be released today. We’ll be waiting.
