First Look: Year One – Jack Black & Michael Cera
One year ago today Jack Black started talking about a new project, “Year One”. Today we have our first look at the biblical comedy from Harold Ramis (“Caddyshack”, “Ghostbusters”) starring Jack Black and Michael Cera (“Arrested Development”, “Juno”).

Here’s how Black described the film a year ago, so things may have shifted:
“Year One is a biblical comedy. It’s about the old testament. I’m just a dude wandering through biblical times. I’m not a famous character that you would have heard of before. Me and Michael Cera are just sort of wandering through, and you get to see all these old stories from the Torah, told through Agnostic, sort of, eyes.”
Despite his over-the-top performances, I’m still a fan of Jack Black. Combine that with Ramis’ writing and Michael Cera on-screen and I’m interested. “Year One” is tentatively set for June 19th, 2009.
