Helena Bonham Carter Heads Towards Judgment Day

Despite being told that “no one is anticipating T4″ I’m pretty confident that there is a building force behind the new Terminator flick. Case in point, it looks like Helena Bonham Carter (Fight Club) is joining in on the fight against SkyNet along with Christian Bale, according to Hollywood Reporter:

The Oscar-nominated actress is in talks to board McG’s “Terminator Salvation,” the fourth installment in the franchise kicked off by James Cameron in 1984. Roles in the new film have been kept under wraps, but insiders described the Bonham Carter role as small but pivotal.

So nothing is official with Carter, yet, but she’d definitely be a great addition to the cast. Will she be good? Will she be bad? I’m hoping bad so she could possibly be a machine, but either way is fine by me.
