NBC has done an impressive job of embracing the concept of webisodes which while sometimes cheap, are great for the hardcore fans. They’re back with another series for “Heroes” called “Nowhere Man” which premiered today here on NBC.com. In the video below Tim Kring, the creator of “Heroes” talks about the new online series.

“Nowhere Man” stars David H. Lawrence XVII as Eric Doyle, a “special” with the ability to control people as if they were marionettes. When fans last saw Doyle on-air he had escaped from Level 5, a prison facility run by the Company. Now in “Nowhere Man,” he attempts to navigate the world as a “regular” guy without using his abilities. Fans can look forward to a familiar face dropping by to give Doyle some help along the way.

Update: I’ve just watched through the “Nowhere Man” series (screeners rock) and it’s definitely the best one “Heroes” has put together so far. Definitely not a cheap feel like “Going Postal” had and that’s probably thanks to using some real characters from the original series. Kudos to the “Heroes” crew for putting together “Nowhere Man.”

Update 2: The first installment in the “Nowhere Man” webisode has been posted below.
