James Avery Of Fresh Prince Show sadly died due to heart complications other day. According to CNN, former “Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” Uncle Phil star, James Avery, sadly died this past Tuesday,December 31st,2013 from reported open-heart surgery complications at the age of 68.

James had the surgery on November 11th, and died on December 31st at a hospital in Glendale, California, according to James’ manager ,Toni Benson. Alfonso Ribeiro, who played James’ son, Carlton, on Fresh Prince, tweeted, “I’m deeply saddened to say that James Avery has passed away. He was a second father to me. I will miss him greatly.”

Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, hopped on their Facebook page to serve up the following message: “Our condolences to aunt Florence (his mother), Miss Barbara (his wife) and all those who loved him.” James showed up in multiple TV shows and movies, including: “CSI,” “That ’70s Show,” “The Closer” and several appearances as a judge on “L.A. Law.”
