Actor James Franco is no stranger to gay rumors. Like most Hollywood men who take on gay movie roles, he’s faced plenty of accusations. Though Franco claims to be straight, he sure isn’t helping cease the rumors by posing in drag for UK’s Candy magazine.

Not that he should care (or does care) about gay rumors. This is just another of his stunts. Franco is so involved with so many different mediums and projects, this doesn’t surprise me in the least. He likes to shock people. That’s clear.

Franco knows how to get people talking and in not completely negative ways. He joins the cast of “General Hospital” instead of getting a DUI (or three). He fails an acting class at NYU instead of hopping from rehab to jail. He poses in drag instead of beating or screaming at his girlfriend.

I admire Franco’s talent and nerve.
