JENNIFER’S BODY Trailer Features Megan Fox’s Body
Having heard little more about “Jennifer’s Body” than it featured Megan Fox I figured it’d be at least entertaining. Now that I’ve seen the trailer I’m not even sure I’d rent it. It’s got all the cheap teen slasher facets and milks Fox’s sexuality for every drop it can offer so if that’s what you like then you’ll be happy.
I was never so bowled over by Diablo Cody’s “Juno,” but maybe moving into a new genre will work better than I’m expecting at this stage.

Jennifer’s Body tells the story of a seemingly-perfect cheerleader whose life is thrown into disarray when she gets possessed by a demon, begins eating boys in her small town, then faces off against her best friend and the Satan-worshipping band that made her evil.

This is actually going to theaters? It looks like it should be a straight to DVD release. Definitely not something I’d pay to see at the theater, but I’ll get it from Netflix at some point, mostly because I spotted Kyle Gallner in the trailer.

@Kim: This may look like a straight-to-DVD flick, but yeah, they’ll push this out to theaters. Having Fox on the marquee is all they need to make sure this will bring in the teenage dollars.
