Johnny Depp Confirmed As Tim Burton’s Mad Hatter

Disney has confirmed the rumors that Johnny Depp would be Tim Burton’s Mad Hatter in his upcoming remake of “Alice In Wonderland”. It’s hard not to get excited about Depp’s potential for such an exciting role despite it’s minor nature in Alice’s journey.
“Wonderland” will be filmed in the capture animation style similar to that used in “Beowulf”. I’m not a big fan of the capture animation, but the idea of another chapter in the long history of Burton and Depp is definitely enticing. Top that all of with a 3-D deliver of the movie and this will be one you won’t want to miss in theaters.
