Judy Greer joins ‘Marmaduke’

Variety reports that Judy Greer has been cast as the mother/owner of that giant un-funny comic strip dog “Marmaduke.” 

Fox is making the CGI/live-action movie. There’s one thing I can’t figure out about this movie. If Greer is playing the owner/mother, then who is going to play the zany best friend/sister/co-worker/maid of honor? 

In other Judy Greer news, she has also been cast in “Love and Other Drugs” with Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway. Greer will play the zany pharmaceutical company instructor. Thank goodness for that! When Judy Greer is out of her comfort zone, I’m out of my comfort zone.
