Katherine Heigl Is Stuck In Her Anatomy Awhile Longer

Despite Katherine Heigl’s best attempts to be a complete bitch and slam the Grey’s Anatomy writers, she won’t be escaping their clutches anytime soon. It seemed as though Heigl was hoping to irk the writers/producers enough with her criticism that they’d kill her off and let her go. “Ehh, nah,” says ABC president, Steve McPherson:

According to McPherson, Katherine Heigl is still very much in the mix over at Grey’s Anatomy, and Izzie won’t be offed anytime soon. In fact, he promised, “She is absolutely staying with the show. She has an unbelievable storyline for her this year, which is really central to everything that is going to go on this season.

Hah! That’s pretty hilarious. I imagine her whole commentary on not getting “Emmy worthy” writing got the exact opposite reaction she was hoping for. You should be able to look forward to Heigl being there until her own anatomy starts turning grey.
