“Pushing Daisies” may be said and done (grrrr!), but Kristin Chenoweth isn’t going to let that stop her. She has just been picked up to join Fox’s upcoming animated comedy series “Sit Down, Shut Up.” “Sit Down” centers on a small town high school in Florida. Chenoweth will replace Maria Bamford who was previously signed on to voice the school’s science teacher, Miracle Grohe.

The animated series won’t debut until early next year as a mid/late season replacement, but its cast list looks unstoppable and promisingly consists of a large portion of the “Arrested Development” creative staff and cast. Mitch Hurwitz (”Arrested” creator), Jason Bateman, Henry Winkler, Will Forte, Kenan Thompson, Cheri Oteri, Tom Kenny, and Nick Kroll. Heck, that sounds more like “Arrested Development” meets “SNL”!

I haven’t seen any previews on “Sit Down, Shut Up” so I’m really interested to see what type of animation this will be. “Family Guy” computer animated, “King of the Hill” rough sketch, or more like something from “Pixar”. I’m hoping for “King of the Hill” style but am expecting “Family Guy.” What’s your animated preference?
