Liam Neeson Seeks Revenge In “Taken” Trailer

Despite her big plans to transition from the small screen to the big one, Maggie Grace hasn’t had an easy time of doing it. Since she left “LOST” with a gut shot she’s had only supporting roles and that isn’t about to change with “Taken”, though it might improve.

“Taken” features Liam Neeson as an ex-spy who pursues the kidnappers of his daughter, played by Grace. From the trailer below, which is pretty damn exciting, it feels like if Mel Gibson had taken his character from “Payback” and put him in “Ransom”. Instead of playing the passive, “wait by the phone” father Neeson is going full throttle after the men who took his daughter and it looks like a bloody trail.

Cinematical points out that the writers from Transporter along with the director of District B13 are attached to this project. Well that explains the intense action.

Taken abducts theaters on September 18, 2008.
