NBC 2009 – 2010 Television Schedule
Last week I was wondering what would fill NBC’s Thursday night gap left by the cancellation of “My Name Is Earl.” Turns out that will be Joel McHale’s (host of E!’s “The Soup”) new series “Community.” McHale is hilarious on “The Soup” and for stand-up so I really want him to do well here, but unfortunately the premise and early clips for “Community” aren’t getting me excited.
The Thursday at 8pm slot is actually split w/ “SNL Thursdays” and “Community,” but hopefully McHale takes over early and does really well so we’re not stuck with Seth Myers trying to tell jokes for 30 minutes.
You can see the rest of the NBC schedule for the 2009 Fall and 2010 Spring season. Notice there is no “Chuck” and “Biggest Loser” has eaten up the entire 2-hour slot on Tuesdays. Jay Leno’s primetime show is also on there for Monday through Friday at 10.
I’m also curious about what happened to NBC’s 3 other new shows: “Mercy,” “100 Questions,” and “Day One.” Will these be mid-season replacements or were they cut already?
