New image: Thor has a big hammer

Marvel released a new photo today from the upcoming movie “Thor.”

According to USA Today, the image shows Thor’s alter ego Donald Blake (Chris Hemsworth) trying to pull the heavenly hammer from its base. But die-hard comic fans say that can’t be Donald Blake because before he becomes Thor, he’s not this ripped. So either the movie ignores that part and Blake already has tree-trunk arms, or the information on this photo got crossed. Who knows.

At any rate, I think I could probably lift that prop hammer. And Thor looks like a scary prisoner. Or a plumber.
