New Maze Runner 3 movie is happening,release date already revealed. According to a new report from Variety, it is confirmed that a new, 3rd installment of The Maze Runner Movie is going down, and will be titled, “The Death Cure.” Filming for it, is scheduled to start up in December 2015. And it’s scheduled to hit theaters on February 17th, 2017.

They confirmed that director, Wes Ball, is returning to direct it, and he revealed a little of what he has in store for the 3rd flick, stating: “We are setting up a lot of things that aren’t necessarily apparent in the second movie, but it will pay off big time in the third movie.

So, that has been my approach and I’m glad that I can finish the series. I’m lucky and thankful that they asked me to direct all three films. At first, I wasn’t sure if I was going to do it or not, but honestly, it was the cast that I wanted to work with again. They are such great people.” Stay tuned.
