New Mistresses season 5 still in question,ABC is undecided. Hey, “Mistresses” fans. Unfortunately, we’re not going to be able to confirm with you, at this time, whether or not your favorite show is returning for a brand new season 5.

Of course, this is always the case with this show every, single year. ABC doesn’t usually make the announcement until about the end of September.

As of right now, though, the Mistresses season 4 ratings look pretty strong, dragging in 2.94 million viewers during its premiere night. Then the 2nd episode brought in 3.31 million viewers. However, shortly after that the viewership dropped down into the 2 millions, making it dip 15% below the viewership that it had in season 3.

It’s speculated that maybe the Summer Olympics might have had something to do with that. However, these are still pretty good ratings for a Summer show.

But as always, until that official announcement is dropped by ABC, there’s always reasons to be concerned about the future of the show. The season 4 finale episode 13 is set to air tonight, September 6th at 9pm central time, and it looks like they’re going to make it pretty wild as someone will return that’s supposed to really blow our minds. I can’t wait to see who that is. Anyways, stay tuned.
