New Nashville Season 5 Is Going To Happen After All,New Details
New Nashville season 5 is going to happen after all,new details. According to a new report from the folks over at TV Line, the ABC canceled drama, “Nashville,” just might get a new life with the CMT channel on cable. They say, it’s basically a done deal, and the official announcement should come at anytime now, most likely during the big 2016 CMT Awards show.
Apparently, this deal had been in the works for a while, because Lionsgate and ABC Studios had convinced the show to just end off with a cliffhanger instead of a series finale ending. Kevin Beggs, who is the Lionsgate TV chairman said: “We wouldn’t take such a strong position to advocate for [the cliffhanger ending if we didn’t feel good about our chances moving forward.”
Apparently, the show’s season 4 finale episode left Juliette’s fate very questionable with the airplane issues where her plane lost radio contact while she was onboard. TV vets, Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick (My So-Called Life, thirtysomething), will be taking over as executive producers of show, replacing Dee Johnson. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting development.Did You Enjoy this Post? Subscribe to Hollywood Hills on Facebook, Twitter, & Email
