New Vampire Diaries season 8 spoilers dished by the cast & TV Line,new clip. This past weekend, The Vampire Diaries cast showed up at the big 2016 Comic-Con event in San Diego,CA and chatted with Andy Swift in the TV Line studios about what’s going down in their new, final season 8. Yes, sadly season 8 is going to be their last season. It was a good run (video below).
In the clip, they did address that this would indeed be their final Vampire Diaries Comic-Con appearance as the show is ending after season 8. They commented about the possibility of a Stefan/Caroline wedding, but it seemed more like a joke than fact.
Executive Producer, Julie Plec, revealed that they tried to get through half the season without using any magic, and that it was fun to do.
Ian Somerhalder aka Damon said, Stefan and Damon will be forced to do very bad things against their own free will. Julie revealed that we’ll be seeing some old characters from the past, show back up on the scene at some point, probably through memories or flashbacks.
Lastly, Julie hinted that there’s a very good chance that we could see Nina Dobrev aka Elena Gilbert return at some point as she did promise a series finale return.
The series finale season 8 is set to debut on Friday night, October 21st, 2016 at 7pm central time on The CW. Stay tuned.
