Full Watchmen Trailer Released
Hot damn! While I definitely still love the first teaser trailer for “Watchmen” thanks to its very well done audio track synchronization with the action, after having just watched Warner Bros.’ first full trailer I’m even more excited. There’s a lot more dialog and action scenes included in this video and its worth noting that we get to hear Crudup as Dr. Manhattan. His voice definitely didn’t match the huskier tone I heard in my mind when reading the comic. Ah well, it all still looks pretty awesome so far. Let’s just hope FOX’s lawsuit doesn’t block this from releasing in March.

NBC Cancels ‘My Own Worst Enemy’ And ‘Lipstick Jungle’
This has not been the year for television and you can put two more names on the tombstones. NBC has cancelled two of its more hyped series starring one-time headliners: “My Own Worst Enemy” and “Lipstick Jungle”.
Christian Slater’s “Enemy” was in its first season with nine episodes already in the can while “Lipstick” had already turned around for its second season with thirteen episodes completed. Both series are currently slated to be aired in their entirety, but neither will have additional episodes filmed.
“Enemy” was pulling in an average of 5 million viewers while reaching only #61 in the Nielsen rankings. “Lipstick” fared even worse with just over 4 million average viewers a week. Maybe Christian can help Brooke out with her VW commercials in their free time.

Jeffrey Tambor Says ‘Arrested Development’ Movie Is Go
The fans of “Arrested Development” have endured so much. After helplessly watching our favorite comedy be pulled from FOX we’ve been teased for far too long over the potential for a big screen adaptation. Jeffrey Tambor, “George Bluth Sr.”, tell us to wait no longer! At a “Hellboy II” release party Tambor was asked by Collider if he was tired of being asked about an “Arrested Development” movie. Tambor’s response:
No, because we’re doing it. We are going. It’s a go. I just actually this week talked to Mitch Hurwitz, so we’re doing it.
…When the writer calls you, the director and the executive producer calls you, it’s a pretty good sign.
If you watch the video interview it’s clear that Tambor was joking during parts of the discussion, so it’s hard to be sure if he’s just joking to get these guys to give up hope or if it’s the real deal. I’m hoping for the latter. What do you think?

James Bond Humor: Brosnan & Craig Face Off In “Quantum of Bonds”
In anticipation of the latest James Blond flick, “Quantum of Solace”, coming out this weekend here’s a little Bond humor for you. I was a huge Brosnan Bond fan and even boycotted “Casino Royale” over his contract being broken one film early. So I think we know where I stand on this one. You?

First Look: JJ Abrams’ Star Trek Enterprise Revealed

Ta-da! It’s the USS Enterprise! Yeah, other than the rounded edges it looks pretty much the same as the old version of Kirk’s ship, but Abrams says that was exactly the point:
“If you’re going to do Star Trek there are many things you cannot change. The Enterprise is a visual touchstone for so many people. So if you’re going to do the Enterprise, it better look like the Enterprise, because otherwise, what are you doing?”
It’s a smart move. Abrams is going to stay as close as he can to the canonical storylines while taking on this new territory of Kirk and crew’s backstory. He’s choosing his battles and doing a good job of it so far. I can’t wait for our first real trailer on this one.

Terminator 4: Salvation - New Footage and Concept Art
With 10 new terminators in the upcoming “Terminator Salvation” starring Christian Bale, production designer Martin Laing has had his hands full. So far, it looks like Laing has been extremely successful with the task at hand as you may have watched over and over again in the first teaser trailer released a few months back. Now we’ve got a full set of concept art for several of those new terminators and even a video with Laing describing his vision for T4. Enjoy!
Video retracted per request of Columbia Pictures. Way to squash fan interest, Sony…
All images removed because Sony/Columbia hates free publicity.

Seth McFarlene Behind The Scenes On Hellboy II
“Hellboy II” hits the DVD shelves today, but Universal put out some of the “behind the scene” clips which are pretty good. Seth McFarlene was brought in by director Del Toro to provide the voice for Johann which not too surprisingly sounds exactly like most of the characters McFarlene voices on “Family Guy” and “American Dad”. Still fun to watch how they do the voiceovers. Check it out:

Weekend Movie Earnings: Nov 7 - 9, 2008
I’m amazed that Hollywood even bothers putting out any kinds of movies other than kids’ animated flicks. “Madagascar 2″ earned a whopping $63.5 million at the box office this weekend, more than tripling the movie earnings of the number two film, “Role Models” which earned $19.2 million. Not too shabby for Stiffler and Paul Rudd.
The other new movie this weekend was Bernie Mac’s “Soul Men” which performed moderately with $5.6 million at the box office. It’s worth noting that “Soul Men” was not only Bernie Mac’s final performance, but also that of Isaac Hayes. Watch out, co-star Samuel L. Jackson!

- “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” $9.2 million [$75.7M total]
