Rachel McAdams just can’t help but be adorable and charming, and in the new preview for Morning glory, she proves it again. Starring , Harrison Ford and Patrick Wilson as well, Morning Glory looks like a feisty tale of perseverance!

In Morning Glory, a young news producer (played by Rachel McAdams) takes on a bit more than she can handle when she attempts to save a failing morning show. The two anchors of the morning show (Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton) are constantly bickering with one another in a pretty predictable love-hate fashion.

I can’t help but think Diane Keaton is one of the most endearing women in the world, but Harrison Ford does nothing for me (I would have preferred Richard Gere or maybe George Clooney) so I’m not really sure how much I can be invested in their little tension filled shenanigans. Patrick Wilson, however? Yowza! This is obviously a very different role from the one he has in A-Team, but he’s proven time and again that he’s got range as an actor. As for Rachel McAdams, well, I consider her to be the quintessential actress for this type of role. She’s gorgeous, but she can play it up or play it down, and I am definitely sure she can pull off the acting required for a role like this one.

Overall, however, Morning Glory looks pretty predictable. It seems as if we even see the turning point in the film, at least for one of the characters, as we watch Becky (McAdams) get a pep-talk speech from Mike (Ford), which sounds like it could be a pretty crucial moment of the film. This is also brought to you by Aline Brosh McKenna, who wrote The Devil Wears Prada – a similar enough story of a young go-getter starring Anne Hathaway. See if you can pick up on the similarities in the preview for yourself, and let us know what you think! Trailer is after the jump. Morning Glory hits theatres November 12th.
