“Pride & Glory” starring Edward Norton and Colin Farrell is another NY good cop, bad cop story. The cast looks good on this one, but doesn’t come across that anything groundbreaking, especially when it comes to its movie poster. Check out the comparison below between the posters for P&G and another “good brother/cop, bad guy/brother” movie. Perhaps they could have called this: “Pride & Glory Owns The Night”.

Nevermind, these are totally different. I didn’t notice that the bad brother in this one, though still with his shoulder to us, is in the back while the good brother is closer. “We Own the Night” did it in a totally different order…

A saga centered on a multi-generational family of New York City Police officers. The family’s moral codes are tested when Ray Tierney (Edward Norton), investigates a case that reveals an incendiary police corruption scandal involving his own brother-in-law (Colin Farrell). For Ray, the truth is revelatory, a Pandora’s Box that threatens to upend not only the Tierney legacy but the entire NYPD.
