I hate to say “Push” reminds me of NBC’s Heroes, but the “company” rounding up supernatural powered individuals and even creating them does kinda take me back to the series. The good thing is the comparison is to the first season of Heroes, not the junk they’re trying now.

“Push” stars Chris Evans (“Sunshine”, “Fantastic Four”) and Dakota Fanning (“The Secret Life of Bees”) as paranormally equipped escapees who must evade their pursuers by using their special abilities. It doesn’t look like it’ll break a lot of new ground, but the plot sounds fun and I’ve been enjoying Evans in his recent work. Check out the plot and trailer below for “Push”.

Push burrows deep into the deadly world of psychic espionage where artificially enhanced paranormal operatives have the ability to move objects with their minds, see the future, create new realities and kill without ever touching their victims. Against this setting, a young man and a teenage girl take on a clandestine agency in a race against time that will determine the future of civilization.
