Rob Zombie Looks To Ruin HALLOWEEN – Michael Myers Face Revealed In H2

You know what was cool about the original “Halloween”? You never saw Michael Myer‘s face. It left a mystery around the killing machine. You know what’s not cool about Rob Zombie‘s “H2″ sequel to his “Halloween” remake? He’s decided to take off the Shatner mask and reveal Myers. Terrible idea.

You can see the first peek of Myers unmasked below thanks to BloodyDisgusting and so far he looks more like a hobo than a maniacal killer. What does Zombie think makes “H2″ part of the “Halloween” franchise when you take away the mask?

well if you actually look, the mask is still on it’s just rotted and the right eye side is gone. I don’t see this as unmasked. I’ve seen some other clips up close, and it’s definitely the mask with the one section missing.

Actually, I recall his mask getting taken off for about 3 seconds in the original Halloween. Just because the mask is what makes him doesn’t mean tearing it will destroy the movie.

Actually, if you look closely in i think it was Halloween 6, the one where he is in that river house. At one point you can see him putting on his mask and you get a glimpse of his face.

I actually a fan of all Halloween movies. I think it’s a good idea to see Mike’s face because it shows the human side of him. But what I don’t like about Zombie’s “H2″ is that one, Mike sees his dead mom and he sees himself as a child. That’s like Jason element, I know mike is mental, but he sees his dead mom. Second, Mike’s sister begans to have mental breakdowns and sees her true mother. She doesn’t even know what her mom looks like. And the wired dreams and visions, don’t even make sense. Third, the whitehorse, I actually think it’s really pointless. Why? It doesn’t have nothing to do with the story line. Forth, The doctor becomes greedy. The original Halloween film, he’s not greedy, he wants to track down Mike. So overall, I think it’s a good idea of unmasking Mike, but bringing some elments to the film, not that pleasing.
