Robert Pattinson landed new car thief movie role other day. According to a new report from Variety,Twilight Saga,mega star Robert Pattinson has landed yet another,new movie gig to go along with his recently acquired “Mission: Blackhat” movie gig. This newest flick will be called “Rover,” and Rob plays a no good,car thief in it.

He’s set to co-star along with actor Guy Pearce. Pearce will play a man who pursues a group of men who stole his car through the wild,and rugged Australian Outback. Pattinson will play one of the thieves. There’s no word in when filming is set to start,but we’ll keep you posted.

In related news,Rob is scheduled to hit up France with his lady love Kristen Stewart later this month to promote his new indie flick “Cosmopolis,” while Kristen promotes her new indie flick “On the Road.” Also, a company named Entertainment One has bought the United States rights to Cosmopolis,so it will be headed to U.S. theaters later this summer.
