Sam Rockwell Confirms Iron Man 2 Casting

Awesome! Sam Rockwell confirmed the rumors with MTV that yes, he will be starring in “Iron Man 2″ as one of Tony Stark’s nemesis:

“They were like, we don’t have a script but this is the deal and this is the character,” Rockwell told MTV. His character is that of Justin Hammer, a multibillionaire businessman and a rival of industrialist of Tony Stark. Rockwell did also confirm that “he’s a money dude” and that “he takes over all the weapons stuff after Tony’s left.”

I imagine he means he “takes over all the weapons” as in the weapons market, rather than Stark Industries itself, but I could be wrong. It’s happened twice before. Either way the confirmation of Rockwell to the cast is a huge plus.

Now we just have to wait on the news of Mickey Rourke as well since Rockwell could only add, “Is Mickey cast yet? I hope so.”
