Showtime ‘Dexter’ Producer Said Season 8 Will Be The Last
Showtime ‘Dexter’ producer said season 8 will be the last. According to a new report from Collider, Dexter producer Sara Colleton recently chatted it up with TV Guide,and confirmed that season 8 is definitely going to be the last one. In fact, she also revealed that she actually wanted to end the series with season 6,but the network convinced them to keep the show going for another two seasons.
Sara told them, “this was definite. We wanted to end it this year, but the network convinced us that it would be best to do it in two years. In some ways, this is a two-season series-ender. We have worked that out and know where it’s going to end. Next year will definitely be the last year of Dexter. Absolutely.”
So there it is Dexter fans. You’ve been given plenty of notice to make your preparations,and to savor the hell out of these final two seasons. Stay tuned.
