Soul Train’s Don Cornelius found dead yesterday after shooting himself. According to TMZ, former Soul Train host and founder Mr. Don Cornelius’ life sadly came to an end,yesterday,after he reportedly blew his brains out. He was found dead in his Sherman Oaks, California home. The Cops said, it appears he committed suicide.

The police discovered the body at around 4 am pacific time on February 1st,and they say, he died from a gunshot wound to the head,and they believe the wound was self-inflicted. Shortly after they found Don,he was taken to the hospital,where he was officially pronounced dead.

His Soul Train show changed the landscape of television when it debuted in 1971 and it ran until 2006. Don left the show in it’s final years. Actor Shemar Moore hosted it for a little while before it finally went off the air after showing a bunch of old 70′s and 80′s re-runs. Follow us on Facebook by Clicking Here.
