SPIDER-MAN 4 Gets A Release Date; THOR, AVENGERS, & CAPTAIN AMERICA Delayed

Marvel hopes you weren’t too anxious for their franchise rollouts of “Thor”, “Captain America”, and “The Avengers”. After being promised 2010 and 2011 arrivals several of the films have been bumped by over a year. “Thor” shifts from July 2010 to June 2011. “Captain America” is delayed from May 2011 to July 2011. “The Avengers” arrives even later with a delay from July 2011 to May 2012.
Thankfully, “Iron Man 2″ has gone untouched and will still hit theaters in May 2010. Hard to imagine there are fewer than 14 months until RDJ hits the skies again when all we’ve seen is a rough set. “Spider-Man 4″ was also given a formal date of May 6, 2011.
