Brandon Routh, who was made famous by his role as Superman in Bryan Singer’s so-so rebirth of the man from Krypton with “Superman Returns” has found a new, supporting role.

Routh has joined on to “Unthinkable”, a post 9/11 terrorism thriller, as a member of Carrie-Anne Moss’ team of FBI agents in search of bombs spread across the country. The Superman actor will join the growing list of actors on this project which includes Samuel L. Jackson, Carrie-Anne Moss (”The Matrix”), Gil Bellows (most recently in “The Promotion”), and Martin Donovan (Weeds).

I’ll be looking forward to more details on “Unthinkable” which starts filming this month under the direction of Gregor Jordan.
