New Insidious 4 sequel movie highly possible,Director already has plot spoilers. According to a recent report from the people over at wegotthiscovered, a Insidious Chapter 4 movie is highly possible and they also spoke with the director, Leigh Whannell, who apparently already has a basic plotline all mapped out.

He definitely wants to continue down this prequel timeline with character ,Elise Rainier, before she met the Lambert family in the first installment. Leigh explained: “I haven’t really thought about it yet. But for the purposes of this interview, I’ll say that I’d like to explore the time between this film and the first film.

That whole area there where Elise has rediscovered her gift, I think you could have a lot of adventures before she arrives. So I think there is a lot of room there. We’ve kind of established Lin Shaye in this particular film as kind of this superhero, so that would be kind of interesting to explore in the other films.”

New Insidious Chapter 3 movie got mixed reviews from top critics. Focus Features released their new horror/thriller flick, “Insidious: Chapter 3,” into theaters today, June 5th, and all the top movie critics have turned in their reviews. It turns out that they were pretty mixed on it, giving it an overall 51 score out of a possible 100 across 21 reviews at Metacritic.com.

The movie stars: Dermot Mulroney, Stefanie Scott, Lin Shaye, Angus Sampson and Leigh Whannell. We’ve supplied blurbs from a few of the critics, below.

Andy Webster at The New York Times, gave it a nice 80 grade, saying: “Ms. Shaye gives Insidious more than sufficient reason for a Chapter 4.”

Alonso Duralde at TheWrap, gave it a 78 grade, saying: “As a vehicle for Shaye, a veteran character actress getting the most screen time she’s ever been given, it’s a blast to watch her anchor this atmospheric look at the personal costs and triumphs of devoting your life to duking it out with nasty presences from the other side.”

Gary Goldstein over at the Los Angeles Times, gave it a 70 grade. He said: “It stands well on its own as a jumpy spookfest.”

Justin Lowe over at The Hollywood Reporter, gave it a 70 score, saying: ” Insidious co-creator Leigh Whannell’s economical script vividly reimagines Elise’s motivations for using her “gift” to aid the demon-afflicted while providing a clearer plotline that avoids many of the convoluted indulgences of the first and second episodes.”

Katherine Pushkar from the New York Daily News, gave it a 60 grade, saying: “You jump out of your skin the first few times the skeleton pops out at you. By the end of the ride, you’ve gotten a good look and it’s not so much scary as hokey.”

Kyle Anderson from Entertainment Weekly, gave it a 58 grade, claiming: “Insidious Chapter 3 is the worst kind of sequel: Not terrible, but also cartoonishly unnecessary.”

New Insidious 3 Movie Looking Pretty Bleak At The Moment,But The Money May Change That

New Insidious 3 movie looking pretty bleak at the moment, but the money may change that. Recently, Indiewire ,chatted it up with Insidious, Josh Lambert, star Patrick Wilson about the new Insidious 2 movie ,and more. And the possibility of an Insidious 3 movie, came up in conversation. However, Patrick made the chances seem pretty bleak, claiming there’s no where else to take his Josh character.

Here’s what Patrick told them: “Here’s the thing, I don’t know if he would. I don’t know where else you go with Josh Lambert. When you see the film, and see how it ends, it’s pretty clear without giving too much away. It took him so much to even want to do a sequel to “Insidious,” I felt like I could do a lot more with the character so he was my sort of touchstone, but I just. I don’t know where else it could go.

I don’t know what he could come up with that would make it be interesting for both of us, for me, for Josh Lambert. Like, where else do you go with that guy? He’s been through the ringer, and I think the movie sets it up well at the end, to be honest with you. And that’s great, that’s how it should end.”

Actually, I think he may be right about Josh, but that doesn’t mean they can’t branch out into other characters, especially with the way they ended it. And with it bringing in over $40 million ,already,it’s a box office winner. So, if there’s any possibility for a 3rd movie, you best believe the studio will find one with those great money numbers. We’ll just keep our fingers crossed.
