MTV’s Scream to deliver hew halloween episode in October 2016,new details. According to a new report from TV Line, the MTV Scream folks are going to come out with a special Halloween episode as a follow-up to the season 2 finale episode that aired this past Monday night.

It’s going to be a special 2 hour episode, which is supposed to clear up all the unanswered questions that the season 2 finale left behind. The official Scream Twitter page first reported the news, writing: “Stay tuned for October when answers to our Season 2 questions are put to rest.”

As previously reported, MTV has yet to confirm a new season 3, so we’re not sure if this episode will set up for that or not.

We can tell you that there is news going around that carries a bad tone for the possible renewal of the show, because it’s bringing in some very low ratings this season.

It’s believed that the low ratings may be due to it airing pretty late at night. The people over at Catermatt.com are saying that for a scripted show, the numbers that Scream managed to put up for its 2nd season are very abysmal, especially for a show that airs on a major cable network such as MTV.
