We’re also shown a series of very intense scenes that feature Damon doing some very bad things! Lots of people are spotted getting tortured like crazy! Damon talks about the Devil coming at some point, and that things won’t be great when he does.

The last time we saw Tyler in action, was briefly in a season 7 episode where he was revealed to be the one responsible for keeping Elena’s comatose body safe, and Damon, who was recovering from having his mind tortured, ended up beating the living daylights out of Tyler.

It turns out that her return, though still a mystery, will actually be tied into what the main villain is trying to pull off, which sounds extremely interesting. Executive producer, Julie Plec, delivered the spoiler tease, telling TV Line: “It’s actually a mystery what brings her back.

It’s seemingly disconnected to everything, and yet when we realize the what, we understand that it’s tied into exactly what the villain is attempting to do.”

Vampire Diaries season 8 currently trying to get Nina Dobrev back,new details. According to a new report from the TV Line folks, the Vampire Diaries final season 8 peeps are currently in aggressive talks to get Nina Dobrev (left) to come back to reprise her Elena Gilbert character.

Mark Pedowitz, who is the President for The CW, stated: “There are discussions going on with Nina. We’d love to have Nina back. She was great for The CW. She was integral for The Vampire Diaries.”

In addition to that, Mark revealed that executive producer, Julie Plec, does have a great back up plan that’s ready to go if they can’t get Nina back, saying: “Hopefully she’ll be back, but should it not work out, Julie Plec has planned a great series finale that will satisfy fans.”

We do know that it will definitely be recurring at best, because Tristin is actually a season regular on the new MacGyver reboot show.

Also, there are no officially confirmed details of what Sarah Salvatore will be doing when she returns. We last saw Sarah getting advised by Enzo to leave town in the end of season 6. However, she was not compelled to forget what she had learned about vampires.

Her storyline should definitely deliver an interesting twist.

Vampire Diaries season 8 bringing on new Evil Herself character for major trouble. According to a recent report from the TV Line folks, actress Nathalie Kelley (left), has been hired by the Vampire Diaries season 8 crew to come on and play a very evil character, named Sybil aka Evil Herself.

Sybil will be a heavily used recurring character. She’s described as being a dastardly immortal that’s a power monger who manipulates her victims into twisted games and tests for her own amusement and glorification. However, underneath it all, Sybil is just like all of us: She only wants to be loved.”

Also, during the 2016 Comic-Con panel in San Diego, CA, executive producer Julie Plec, described Sybil as being “a new take on villains for us.

In the video, we see: Ian Somerhalder, Kat Graham, Paul Wesley, Candice King, Kevin Williamson, Michael Malarkey, Matt Davis, Zach Roerig and Julie Plec in action. They talked about the new villain of season 8. It will be a new take on villains for them. It’s rooted all the way back into ancient times. From there, that’s all executive producer, Julie Plec, would tease about the new villain.

Then they revealed that Enzo and Damon will be under some form of mind control that they’ve never encountered before.

This past weekend, The Vampire Diaries cast showed up at the big 2016 Comic-Con event in San Diego,CA and chatted with Andy Swift in the TV Line studios about what’s going down in their new, final season 8. Yes, sadly season 8 is going to be their last season. It was a good run (video below).

In the clip, they did address that this would indeed be their final Vampire Diaries Comic-Con appearance as the show is ending after season 8. They commented about the possibility of a Stefan/Caroline wedding, but it seemed more like a joke than fact.

Executive Producer, Julie Plec, revealed that they tried to get through half the season without using any magic, and that it was fun to do.

Ian Somerhalder aka Damon said, Stefan and Damon will be forced to do very bad things against their own free will. Julie revealed that we’ll be seeing some old characters from the past, show back up on the scene at some point, probably through memories or flashbacks.

Vampire Diaries season 8 new occult intern actress revealed. As previously reported, The Vampire Diaries season 8 peeps are bringing on a new occult intern, named Georgia. And now, thanks to TV Line, we have a face to go with the Georgia character.

She will be played actress, Allison Scagliotti (left). Georgia is an occult reach intern that’s driven by a horrific darkness in her own past. She will channel her existential anxieties into a new field of study that will force her to confront her deepest fears.

And it won’t take long for us to see her in action as she’s scheduled to show up in the very first, season 8 episode back. Currently, Georgia will just be a recurring character.

Allison Scagliotti’s acting resume includes roles in Freeform’s Stitchers, Fresh Off The Boat, Warehouse 13, CBS’ Person Of Interest, FOX’s Bones and CW’s Smallville. So, it sounds like she has more than enough experience to fit the bill for this role.
