Terminator Targets Garbage’s Shirley Manson

FOX’s television Terminator series, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, was renewed for a second season several months ago, but now we’re getting our first insights to season two. The sophomore debut of the Arnold classic, sans Arnold, is picking up a new cast member with the band Garbage’s lead singer, Shirley Manson. Sounds like her character will help Sarah and crew narrow down their hunt to save the future:

The Scottish singer will play the CEO of a cutting-edge high-tech company that may be a precursor to the humanity-hating Skynet…and possibly a target for Sarah Connor’s merry band of terminator hunters.

Kinda strange and random casting, but I’m going to hope they know what they’re doing. Interestingly this keeps in line with the ongoing female focused cast and storyline. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
