The reboot of the ‘8os alien drama “V,” will now premier on Nov. 3 on ABC.

It was originally scheduled as a mid-season show, meaning it wouldn’t be seen until 2010. According to IGN, the show is planning to run four seasons, depending on its success. “We’ve got [the story] all mapped out and pretty solid direction for everything,” said Producer Scott Peters. “We certainly know where we’re going for the first reason and second season and we have a really solid plan the whole way though.”

Being a child of the ’80s, “V” was one of my greatest memories. I became so obsessed with the show that I wore all red and would draw lizard skin on my hands as if I’d peeled off the outer layer of my skin. I promise my pet hamsters were not harmed. So, needless to say, I’m pretty excited about this remake.

I’m still hoping somewhere along the way Jane Badler (who played the original Visitors’ leader Diana) will make a cameo. She was awesome. A mixture of Alexis Carrington and Hilter, Diana was the epitome of ’80s diva.
