Vampire Diaries season 3 bringing on new sexy,female doctor & more. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Vampire Diaries is set to bring on a new,hot,female doctor to Mystic Falls,and guess what, she’s being played by Paul Wesley’s wife Torrey DeVitto.

Her character’s name is Mary,and she’s described as being an intelligent young doctor who is intrigued by Alaric’s powers of recovery. She’s currently scheduled to show up in episode 10 and 11. However,this could turn into a recurring gig for the starlet.

Torrey’s acting resume is pretty good. She played the evil nanny on popular show “One Tree Hill,” and she is also currently employed on ABC Family’s hit drama “Pretty Little Liars” as character Melissa.
