Vampire Diaries season 4 Bonnie’s dad to show up, Alaric returns & more, new spoilers. As previously reported, TV Guide recently chatted with Vampire Diaries producer Julie Plec,and she dropped a lot of new, spoiler teasers we can expect to see in the new season 4. In this particular session we’ll take a brief look at the arrival of Bonnie’s father,and more

First, Julie revealed that it’s definitely time for Bonnie’s dad to show up when they asked her about it,and she said, ” this year is a big year of transitions. It’s the end of senior year, and there’s a rich home life for everybody we’re going to explore.”

Next, she revealed that they’re currently unsure about how many episodes Klaus will be in Tyler’s body, because they haven’t broken down the script yet. Finally, Plec went on to reveal that dead Alaric could definitely return, stating, “as long as Jeremy can see ghosts and Alaric is out there in the universe, then there’s a window there.”

She went on to explain, “the moment in the end of the finale when he shows up, broke every rule in the book, but I didn’t care. For us it was more important for us to give Matt Davis and Alaric that last goodbye to say, ‘Yes, he was the bad guy for the last few episodes, but here he is in that Obi-Wan kind of way.’” Season 4 debuts this fall.
