Vampire Diaries season 4 producer revealed new Vampire Elena new beginning spoilers. E! Online recently had a little sitdown chat with Vampire Diaries producer Julie Plec,and she spilled out some more spoiler goodies for season 4, pertaining to our new “vampire on the block” Elena. It looks like she’s going to get a new beginning,, and more.

Plec told them, “we’re starting a new story. Same world, same characters, same feelings, same everything but for our ingénue, and our heroine, we are beginning. It is a beginning for her.” She went on to explain that they were actually leading up to this transition during the whole season 3. They already knew it was going down.

She went on to describe the new vamp Elena as a girl who misses her parents, a girl who regrets the person that she has become,and wonders if her parents would be ashamed of her, a girl who is trying desperately to hold onto a friendship that reminds her of when she was human. In season 4, everything will feel so new and so fresh.
