Vampire Diaries season 4 Rebekah to suffer major consequences for causing Elena death & more. Recently, Entertainment Weekly chatted it up with Vampire Diaries producer Julie Plec,and she spilled some juicy spoilerfo on crazy vampire Rebekah’s fate in the upcoming season 4. Apparently,she’s not going to fair to well after causing Elena’s death,which ultimately lead to her having to become a bloodsucking vampire.

First,Julie revealed that “Rebekah is going to be persona non grata amongst the heroes of the show, if not everyone, for what was a very, very, very aggressive and murderous move. So even Matt, her sweet little football captain, is gonna probably have a hard time getting past that. He’s not necessarily gonna be talking to her anytime soon.”

Plec went on to explain that Rebekah will get ostracized even more than she’s already been. “And for a girl who doesn’t like to be lonely, that’s not gonna be the easiest thing for her.” She’s also probably not going to be on Klaus’ good side,since she ruined his chances of making more hybrids.

Next,Plec revealed, that they’re going to explore whether or not Elijah had anything to do with Rebekah’s murdering plan. However,she thinks Rebekah probably made the choice on her own, and is going to pay some pretty tough consequences both from her brothers and for herself,socially.

Also, Elijah won’t be appearing in the new season that much,because the actor that plays him, Daniel Gillies, landed a new NBC TV show gig,named “Saving Hope.” However, I would take that with a grain of salt,because that show is doomed to get canceled right out of the box,and Daniel will gladly come hobbling back to VD with open arms.
